Yesterday afternoon MJ Tam & Beth Rosen of the ChicagonistaLIVE! show presented the Windy City Welcome Soiree at Water Tower Place in Chicago. This private event started at 3pm with complimentary Wow Bao nosh, networking and reconnecting with friends. The afternoon was filled with fashion food and fun! A Chicago in Broadway music performance by The Australian Bee Gees started at 4:15 followed by a fashion show featured Chicago bloggers.
Our friend Patrice Yursik of Afrobella walked in the show! She said she was never in a fashion show, before but she walked like a pro. (I think we’ll be seeing her on more runways!)
After the show there were “fashion missions” where guests could tweet and Intsagram at participating shops at Water Tower for discounts, to enter giveaways and taste some treats at Food Life. A good shopping and networking time was enjoyed by all!
