Celebrity Style Smackdown: Featuring Beyoncé, Kate Middleton, Reese Witherspoon & Dianca Argon

Don’t you just love seeing celebrities wear the same clothes? We live for it. So grab a seat ringside…

Winner: Chanel Iman. First let’s start with Jena’s expression. A scowl never looks good. It’s so annoying being famous. Who is she again? Then again, it just happens to be when she was snapped, so let’s not blame that entirely. I don’t really get the shoes with the dress or the clutch. There is no element that pulls them together. I’m always a fan of the KISS method and Chanel lets the dress and those awesome spiked Louboutins do the talking. Perfection.

Winner: Neither. Frankly I think they look exactly the same! Twins really. Even the hair is the same. It boils down to the shoes. And since one is wearing winter red suede (Brooklyn) and the other is wearing a springier shoe (Emily) and we are not sure when these pictures were taken (Brooklyn could have worn this dress in the winter and Emily in the spring), we are going to call this one a tie.

Winner: Reese Witherspoon. This was a tough call. I am never one to shy away from a black dress and a Louis Vuitton one at that. I also adore Dianna’s Louis Vuitton shoes. However, you can’t really see them because she is wearing black opaque tights (which are a staple in my wardrobe as well). Had she gone with a bare leg, I would have picked her hands down. Her hair and makeup are perfection and I love the emerald green pop of color in the necklace. Yet, Reese looks even better in the yellow version and the belt was a great call. As were her shoes. Close, but Reese wins.

 Winner: Jessica Biel. Don’t get me wrong. I think Beyoncé looks AMAZING for someone who just had a baby. I would never have dared to wear such a form fitting dress so soon after giving birth. However, we find her necklace choice confusing. It looks like she tossed on some worry beads and a rosary. I also don’t like the clunky shoes with the simple dress at all. They just don’t work. Jessica not only kept her accessories minimal, those shoes are banging!

Winner: The Duchess of Cambridge. Personally I would never want to get into a fashion ring with her, because everyone loves her. The top paired with the nautical thigh-high slit skirt is just captivating. Not that Alicia looks bad, it’s just no contest. Done, done and done. – Lauren Dimet Waters Photos: People.com
