Here it is, barely 2014 and I’m already wishing Spring would get here. I’m freezing! So I am more than happy to discuss Spring makeup and a brighter color palette. One that has just been released that I’m totally excited about is Guerlain’s Spring 2014 Météorites Blossom Collection. It celebrates the reinvention of the legendary Météorites Pearls (the light-diffusing properties minimize flaws and add brightness) more than 25 years after its invention. This new version contains new colors to revive light and boost radiance by incorporating Guerlain’s new, revolutionary ―Stardust Technology (a spherical pigment contained within each pearl). This formulation diffracts light upon contact to offer sublimely luminous skin.
Météorites Pearls are available in 3 new shades Clair, Medium and Doré, $60/each
Météorites Brush, $42
Guerlain also introduces two new cream blushes in limited-edition shades (Pink & Cherry) that melt instantly into the skin, leaving a satiny finish with a slight violet scent. Météorites blush comes encapsulated in a perfectly round white and silver case, paying homage to the Météorites bubble.
Météorites Blush, $42
Guerlain’s Rouge Automatique lipstick provides long-lasting color with amazing hydration. Just push of the lever of the cool Art Deco cylinder to reveal one of two new limited-edition shades; Attrape Coeur (a spicy and cheerful pink) and Insolence (a vibrant fuchsia).
Guerlain’s Rouge Automatique, $35/each
If you have not yet tried Guerlain’s Cils d’Enfer Maxi Lash Mascara you need to. It’s combination of 3 polymers volumizes, lengthens and strengthens for killer lashes. Never clumpy, Maxi Lash can be layered to create just the right volume for each moment. Not only is the packaging beautiful, your lashes will be too.
Maxi Lash Mascara, $30
The new limited-edition Ecrin 4 Couleurs eye shadow collection is composed of four mix and match shades for endless combinations. The newest harmony, Les Tendres, draws inspiration from the season: iridescent ivory, satiny nude, matte violet-plum and a metallic aquatic green to add vibrancy.
Ecrin 4 Eyeshadows, $63
