Balmain still bringing on the big changes. After just acquiring Olivier Rousteing to the luxury brand as its new creative director, Balmain announced plans to launch a diffusion collection of both men and women’s clothing.
Named ‘Pierre Balmain’ – in honor of the label’s founder, who started the fashion house in 1945 – a spokesperson today confirmed that the new range “will be younger and designed by a new team.”
Look for the collection in September for the Spring 2012 season.
