Hair Recovery Solutions For Summer & Color Fried Hair

My hair has recently become a hot mess! I thought it was just rebelling against my harsh 6-8 weeks hair color treatments, so I begrudgingly cut 3 inches off. Well it wasn’t just summer and color damage (I wear a hat in the direct sun, even in the pool by the way), but baby hair. Say what? Yes, it turns out under my regular hair I have about 4 inches of baby fine baby hair growing all over my head. Apparently this can happen if you have had a significant life event like having a baby, menopause or in my case, a major surgery. So all those hairs sticking up were not breakage, but baby hairs! Mind you, my ends still looked like hell, but they are gone now

The Recap And Fashion Drama of The RHONY Season 8: Ep 18

I have come to two, well three conclusions. 1) Dorinda is the shit stirrer of all shit stirrers. 2) Tom is a man whore and is marrying LuMann for reality fame (he has money, but not fame). 3) This marriage will happen because LuMann wants to be married more than anything, but it will end badly. As in Bethenny and Jason badly. Anyway, this week’s much anticipated episode of the Real Housewives of New York, starts off where we left of last week – getting ready for the engagement yacht party in Palm Beach

Bag To Carry Now And Later: The Striped Bag

Who can resist the Jackie O striped Gucci bag? Apparently nobody because the style keeps coming back. I so wish I had not killed my vintage one (via my mother) in the late 90’s. Anyway, the style of the striped bag with its simple yet statement-making vertical center stripes has influenced the design of a considerable amount of bags this upcoming fall which is evidenced below. How to wear the striped bag? I love it with a crisp white menswear inspired shirt to make the bag stand out. Come winter, try a fisherman’s sweater. Pair either top with a pencil skirt or your favorite worn jeans. It will pop beautifully.

Packing For A Weekend At The Beach

I love a weekend away at the beach, but oddly the packing is a nightmare! I literally can’t stand it. You have to pack so many items “just in case.” Are the evenings cold? You need a light sweater. Are you going out for dinner? You need a cute dress. Then the swimsuits and coverups and the clothes to change in to after the beach? When I see other articles or posts with a bikini, a dress you can use as a cover up and to wear out and, with a hat, sunglasses and a pair of sandals, I say bullshit. Here is what I packed for a 2 night, 3 day trip to the beach
