Animal prints for fall are nothing new, but this year, they’re being resurrected in so many fresh ways, making them a trend worth embracing. Whether you prefer snakeskin, cheetah, tiger or zebra prints, there’s an option to suit your personal style. Animal prints aren’t for everyone, but with so many choices available, there’s bound to be one that works for you this season.
Animal Prints for Work
Who says workwear has to be boring? A chic animal print adds just the right amount of personality to your office look. I’ve been a fan of animal prints in workwear since my start in the corporate world many moons ago. Here we are in 2026, and I’m still fangirling over this trend! If you’re like me, I’ve found some beautiful pieces to add to your work wardrobe.

My favorite find for work is these Veronica Beard Ziger-Print (zebra and tiger hybrid) wide-leg jeans. The print is so unique and I haven’t seen much like it. Wide-leg pants are also my absolute favorite style right now. The high waist and wide legs make these jeans office-appropriate while still feeling playful and fun.

If you prefer a more traditional animal print, I suggest these leopard-print wide-leg dress pants. They’re another favorite find because the relaxed, wide-leg cut and vibrant print are both comfortable and eye-catching.

An animal-print skirt can be a versatile addition to your closet. If you don’t have one yet, consider this ocelot-print pleated chiffon skirt.

If you’d rather try a top or sweater this fall, take a look at this plush, bold snow leopard-print crewneck sweater. I really appreciate the black-and-white print because it’s unexpected. Most of the animal prints we see tend to fall into the brown color family.

For a more feminine but polished look, try this Reiss snakeskin-print button-front shirt. It’s a great option if you want to incorporate animal print into your work wardrobe without going overboard.
Animal Prints for Play
I love animal print so much that I’ve been incorporating it into my casual wardrobe, too. The idea of lounging around or working out in a trendy animal print gives me another reason to get excited about putting on comfortable clothes!

If you love a half-zip pullover, I found this sherpa-knit half-zip from Old Navy, which was listed at 50% off when I found it. If you ask me, that’s a great deal! I plan to pick this one up and will probably live in it all season. I wouldn’t wear it only with sweatpants, either. It would look just as good with jeans and sneakers on a casual workday.

For lounging at home, I’d choose this leopard-print two-piece lounge set from Softies. I recently discovered the brand and am totally in love with its assortment and quality. This set is definitely one to consider if you want to be comfortable without sacrificing style.

I don’t make it to the gym as often as I’d like these days, but when I do, I want to look good. So, when I make my triumphant return, I’ll be wearing these Adidas leopard-print leggings. The sporty design makes them a natural choice for the gym, but they’re also stylish enough to wear beyond your workout.

Finally, if you’re a matching-set gal like me, consider this Nike cow-print crewneck sweatshirt and its coordinating cow-print joggers. The look is a little flashy but also a little fabulous. If you don’t mind being the center of attention, this is a fun way to embrace the animal-print trend.
Animal-Print Accessories
I always like to include a few accessories for anyone who wants just a hint of the trend we’re discussing. Animal print is no exception, so I found some of my favorite accessories while browsing the options available this season.

An unexpected choice is this brown cheetah-print pony-hair belt from Old Navy. Belts can sometimes seem like an afterthought, but an interesting print can add a little personality and detail to an outfit.

I’ve been seeing this Michael Kors cheetah-print pavé watch pop up in my feeds for a while now, so I’m taking it as a sign that I need to have it in my life! If you love flashy, sparkly accessories, this is one to consider. I love a little wrist sparkle, and the animal print makes this watch stand out.

Finally, for all the ladies who love their handbags, you can try the trend with this Kate Spade giraffe-print small tulip tote. I really adore this bag’s silhouette, and the giraffe print is an unexpected option for fall. It’s a fun way to wear animal print without committing to a full outfit.
Expert Style Tips for Wearing Animal Prints
1. Pay attention to scale. The goal is to wear the trend, not let the trend wear you! Consider the size of the print and how it works with the rest of your outfit. Larger prints can make a bold statement, while smaller prints may feel more subtle. Try different scales to see which you prefer. A general rule to follow is if you are tall or have an apple shape, a large print will work for you. If you are petite, you may want to keep the print smaller so as not to overwhelm you. However, when it comes to fashion, rules can always be broken!
2. Consider the fabric. The fabric can make a big difference in how an animal print looks and feels. For a more polished appearance, consider quality fabrics and finishes such as matte silk, wool blends or pony-hair details. I’d be cautious with overly shiny fabrics if you want a more refined look.
3. Start with small details. I understand that not everyone wants to drape themselves in animal prints. If you’re unsure whether this trend is for you, start with an accessory or a small pop of print. Try a bag, scarf, belt or pair of shoes. If you discover that you love the look, you can gradually add a larger clothing piece to your wardrobe.
Whether you prefer a bold leopard-print outfit or a subtle animal-print accessory, there are plenty of ways to try this trend for fall. Choose the pieces that fit your personal style, have fun with them and wear them with confidence!
