Up Close & Personal With The Beauty Products From ABC's Scandal

I have avoided watching ABC’s Scandal because I didn’t want to get hooked on another show and because I like to watch a marathon on DVD over a weekend or two for this kind of show. No worries, I plan to get addicted and I know who Olivia Pope is. So when I was invited to attend a Beauty Night for the Scandal Season Finale at the Carlton Hotel in NYC last Thursday evening, of course I had to attend!

My friends and Pretty Connected and The Glamazon Diaries co-hosted the event which included brands such as; skyn ICELAND, LORAC Cosmetics, Inc. BaByliss PRO, Kevyn Aucoin Beauty, Neutrogena, Mario Badescu Skin Care, Kate Somerville Skincare, and Sebastian Professional. There was wine, beauty and 15 “influencers” invited to discuss the products used on the show. What more could I ask for? Um, not much! If you missed my Tweets and Instagram pics with the #PrettyGlamazonScandal, then I’m sorry. You could have won everything. Caravan Studio’s hair stylist Valerie Star was on hand to create the famous Olivia Pope flip as well as hair styles seen on Scandal characters, Abby, Mellie and Quinn using the Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Marcel Curling Iron. We also had Dean Fournier, international makeup artist from Lorac use the Pro Palette colors used on the show on attendees. Here’s a recap:

Babyliss Pro I have to admit, I have secretly wanted a professional curling wand, but had no idea how to use it on my hair.
