No matter what time of year, it’s never too late to travel. It gives you time to rejuvenate in the midst of rooftop parties and late nights on the patio. But who wants to spend more than a few minutes trying to pack up all the stuff you need for a few days (or more than a week, if you’re lucky)? Here’s all the major pieces you need to travel in style and have a wonderful trip.
all In The Bag
For you need a great bag! If you don’t have a sweet overnight bag, getting a distressed leather one is a wise investment. It will keep you from having to shove everything in a backpack and it’s a bit more stylish than your average Vera Bradley fare.
Protect YOur Skin
You have to make sure your skin is well protected wherever you go. The sun never takes a vacation. If you know you will be in the hot sun for long periods of time, a gel SPF works wonders. You can put it on without any thick white residue leftover. Hopefully, you will have been diligent enough to slather on your sunscreen religiously but that doesn’t mean your skin will stay perfect.

A rose or aloe spray is perfect for refreshing your skin and taking out any redness you may have sustained. Bonus: it also works while you’re flying to keep your skin hydrated in the plane.
Minimal Makeup
You will want to keep your makeup to a minimum, read: non-existent. Your best bet is to just bring a mascara, highlighter and bold lipstick. These three simple pieces will make the perfect look for any time.
During the day, you can just swipe on some mascara to make your eyes pop, as well as a little bit of highlighter for some shine if you’re so inclined. If you’re going out, the bold lipstick draws focus to your lips so you won’t have to worry about anything else. Plus, no one wants to be constantly wiping foundation off their sunglasses.
An Eye On Home
Is there a nagging thought that you may have left something on at home? (Who doesn’t obsess about if you locked the door?) A WiFi camera is perfect for checking in and making sure your living space is still doing fine. With the motion sensor feature, your phone can immediately alert you to any funny business while you’re miles away.
Where to go
And finally, still thinking about where to go for your vacation? Hawaii is always the perfect option. Yeah, we also have sun, beaches and Mai Tais but wouldn’t it be better just to say you were in Hawaii anyways?
