Carolyn Rosenberg’s Handmade Collars
Ikram Goldman, owner of Ikram in Chicago, can barely keep Carolyn Rosenberg’s handmade collars in stock at her namesake boutique, and has sold over 60 collars since September! These collars retail from $1,200 to $1,500, and have been quite a hit not only for the designer, but the boutique owner as well. Pairing a simple dress or dress top with one of these collars puts a finishing touch on an outfit! How lucky are we to have Ikram located here in Chicago? If you would like to check out her boutique, she also offers other haute fashions from around the world, a cafe, and an art gallery located on 15 East Huron Street.
Elie Tahari Partners with Vespa Brooklyn
Elie Tahari has recently partnered up with Vespa Brooklyn and has been “Tahari-izing” these scooters adding fabrics from his spring and sport collections along with his name. These fabrics include mesh, red-berry Neoprene and tie-dyed blue silk inspired by Santorini’s Aegean Sea. Tahari’s Soho, East Hampton and Fifth Avenue boutiques are showcasing his designer scooters until July 4th, and it shouldn’t come as a surprise if you see the designer riding around the city on one. He said, “I will be buying one.”
