Anya Hindmarch Boutique
Anya Hindmarch Opening London Store
Accessory designer Anya Hindmarch is opening a new store in London tomorrow. It’s located in Westfield London’s Luxury Village and spans 672 square feet, with a posh location next to Louis Vuitton and Prada. The boutique’s interior features the brand’s autumn show’s theme of the open highway with chic reflective road signs.
Elio Fiorucci Passes Away
Fashion designer Elio Fiorucci died today at his home in Milan at the age of 80. Fiorucci was a ‘fashion industry pioneer’ and brought the unconventional style of Swinging London to Milan. He opened his first store in 1967 and was good friends with Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and Madonna. (Oh what, wow! Remember Sister Sledge singing “Halston, Gucci, Fiorucci”?) In 1970, Fiorucci launched his namesake ready-to-wear line, which focused on denim pieces at affordable prices.
