Simon Doonan & Stella McCartney at Barney's NY during Tuesday's trunk show in NYC
Fresh off her visit to NYC for the Met Gala and a Tuesday trunk show at Barneys NY, Stella McCartney will be at the new Barneys in Chicago today.
Of her appearance yesterday it was very interactive. According to WWD, Simon Doonan hosted a talk-shows-style session that followed added a quirky and entertaining twist to the typical trunk show format. Then she went on to engage with clients, whether that meant taking photos, talking to one woman’s son on a cell phone, or dispensing advice on a custom-made wedding dress. McCartney said. “I really like meeting the customers and just people. Even if they’re not my customers, but just girls who want to be fashion designers, honestly, I enjoy it.”
