The 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival Part II: Glamorous Gowns and Gorgeous Ladies Like Heidi Klum, Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon

It’s time to say goodbye to the beautiful ladies at the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival, and it looks like the second half of the 12-day long event was better than the first. Of course, while Eva Longoria, Diane Kruger and Naomi Watts other style stunners made big strides on the red carpet in the first few days, it was the arrival of big names like Nicole Kidman, Kristen Stewart, and Heidi Klum that really made Cannes take off this year! But it wasn’t just those big names – it was also what they wore and how good they looked in bright colors, metallics, and other gorgeous trends.

Natasha Poly in Gucci
Models like Natasha Poly, Anja Rubik, Isabeli Fontana, and Doutzen Kroes were very present at many Cannes events, usually turning up in an Emilio Pucci or Roberto Cavalli ensemble. Here, Natasha Poly stuns in leopard green velvet Gucci.
Kirsten Dunst in Dior
The thing about Kirsten Dunst is whether she’s wearing fuchsia Dior or pale blue Louis Vuitton or a simple vintage tee and denim cutoffs, she always makes it look effortless.
Reese Witherspoon in Atelier Versace
Could Reese Witherspoon possibly be any more radiant? The pregnant soon-to-be mom stunned in blue Atelier Versace and even standing next to handsome Matthew McConaughey did nothing to deter us from her beauty.
Nicole Kidman in Lanvin
For a while there, we were wondering where Nicole Kidman went. After all, her fashion was starting to take a turn for the worst. But now the fabulous fashionista seems to have gone back to her prime and this gorgeous Lanvin dress with asymmetrical bodice certainly does the trick.
Kristen Stewart in Reem Acra
Kristen Stewart made quite an impression at the Cannes Film Festival this time around, on more than one occasion, including when she stunned in this Reem Acra gown with lace back.
Rose McGowan in Monique Lhuillier
She’s definitely not the Rose McGowan we remember, but we’re definitely not put off by her blue Monique Lhuillier gown with daring thigh high split, that showed off a little leg, clad in black of course. Metallics
Barbara Palvin in Valentino
Doutzen Kroes in Elie Saab
Models in metallics certainly make a statement as much as models in colors that pop and both Hungarian model Barbara Palvin who represented L’Oreal in Valentino and Dutch model Doutzen Kroes who shined in Elie Saab with husband Sunnery James.
Kylie Minogue in Dolce & Gabbana
As much as Diane Kruger shined like a disco ball in Vivienne Westwood, Kylie Minogue did the same and even more so in her shiny golden Dolce & Gabbana.
Nicole Kidman in Ralph Lauren
More golden metallics, this time for Nicole Kidman in Ralph Lauren.
Heidi Klum in Marchesa
Nothing says beautiful like Heidi Klum in a stunning Marchesa number.  She got all the photographers and onlookers going.
Camila Alves in Marchesa
Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves
It looks like Camila Alves was suitable arm candy for fiance Matthew McConaughey at the Cannes Film Festival. And suitable is an adequate word but definitely not enough for the super stunner who made the handsome hottie look like your average Joe.
Karolina Kurkova in Roberto Cavalli
Kelly Brook in The Blonds
We all know Karolina Kurkova stuns in whatever she wears and she had a few amazing numbers at Cannes. In a similar but more colorful creation, model English model Kelly Brook stood out when she wore a candy colored dress from The Blonds. Prints and More
Bianca Balti in Dolce & Gabbana
Italian model Bianca Balti’s floral princess gown was voted Best Dressed by Derek Blasberg at Harper’s Bazaar.
Kristen Stewart in Balenciaga
Kristen Stewart’s Balenciaga gown was best in show at the Cannes Film Festival and many thought it was the best gown at the festival.
Elodie Bouchez in Chanel
Surprisingly, not much Chanel was seen on the red carpet. But when it was, it was something incredibly special. Photos: Grazia.co.uk, Instyle.com, People.com –Simona Kogan
