Fall In Line: The Military Trend For Under $200

The military trend is nothing new. In fact it’s been in style for at least 10 years, and come to think of it…back in the 80’s I wore a ton of camouflage and army greens. I digress. Yet, this is the first time in a long time, military has been deemed a trend for spring/summer. They are calling it “utilitarian” but it’s basically military. Utilitarian simply means “designed to be useful or practical rather than attractive (which one finds in the military).” Well I find the look very attractive, very wearable and luckily it’s very on trend!

Looks For Less: Structured Satchels for Sunny Occasions

Post-dinner walks in the park, Saturday shopping trips, brunches al-fresco, ahhh! The benefits of warmer weather and sunshine soaked days are upon us. With all the time spent strolling around, nobody wants to have a cumbersome, heavy oversized bag weighing them down. After editing your bag down to the essentials, it’s time to do a little springtime shopping and consider snapping up a new, cute carryall.

Chain Of Command – Chain Link Bags

Good Lord. It is so hard to keep up with all the handbag trends this season, but one that is back in a BIG way is an oldie, but a goodie: the chain link bag. If you already have a Chanel bag you are in luck. If you don’t and can’t quite afford one or want to spend the money, or if you are just looking to add another to your chain posse, there are some phenomenal options at virtually every price point.

Cheer For Pom Pom Shoes!

No, you don’t have to be a cheerleader or even 16 to partake in this hot trend. Of all the shoe trends for the Spring ’16 season (and there are many) one I am loving is the pom pom embellishment. I was a sucker for a good bow (in the 80’s and more recently), rhinestones (in well the 80’s again and more recently) and now I adore the pom pom. You need to have a bit of a sense of humor to pull this look off.
