The Way to Go High Low: Orange You Glad It’s Spring?

Pantone may swear by pastels like rose quartz and serenity for 2016, but if the runways are any clue, it’s pretty clear that orange is also going to be a major color trend for this spring. From Altuzarra’s floral prints to Karen Walker’s navy and tangerine color combo, all signs point to the fact that the citrusy hue will be big this season.

Must-Have Trend For Spring: The Denim Pencil Skirt

One item you will want to add to your closet (or dig out in my case) is a denim pencil skirt. Some may say this trend is retro and they would be right. I think of the 70’s version my babysitter’s wore that were jeans re-purposed into a long skirt. I thought it was so cool. At any rate, today’s denim pencil skirt is a slim-fit skirt that’s all shades of denim blue, white or black and can be a midi length to just above the knees.

Earning Your Stripes For Spring

I love stripes, I really do and while I am thrilled they are once again back on trend for spring, I am intrepid. Why? Well most stripes just are not that flattering. I always love a menswear inspired or boyfriend blue and white stripped shirt, but that’s because the lines are usually vertical.
