Steal Their Style

Don’t have an extra million in the bank? Don’t fret. Just remember these three rules of royalty and you’ll be ready to meet the Queen without busting your bank account.

1. Keep it simple: These young ladies never look over done or over accessorized — much unlike their American contemporaries. Keep make up to a minimum (think mascara with red lips or dramatic eyes with nude lips) and keep accessories as statement pieces (that means limited to one or two!).

2. Keep it classic: These ladies don’t follow every trend of the season. Instead, they opt for timeless pieces, colors, and patterns… think pearls, diamonds (or in my case rhinestones), scarves, trench coats, stripes, lace, things that you see every season, every year.

3. Have fun: My favorite European trend of the moment is mixing and matching clashing patterns and colors. Who says a leopard print scarf can’t be matched with classic stripped t-shirt and red skinny jeans? Think outside the box when you wear your ‘classics’ — you can do no wrong, I promise.
