Truly Sophisticated Stars and Stripes Fashion

Stripes are huge trend this season, and you know you are a star, so why not show your patriotism and wear stars and stripes fashion? Celebrate our upcoming summer holidays with stars and stripes in red white and blue, and in metallics too! This does not mean you have to wear a tacky flag t-shirt, either, because there are plenty of sophisticated stars and stripes options available. Take a look and you’ll see what I mean.

I found some age appropriate starts and stripes pieces for women over 40. You may not think all of them are sophisticated, but who says fashion over 40 can’t still be fun? Small doses of stars or stripes (or any motif for that matter) is always the best advice regarding how to wear it.

Wear your stars on a pair of Golden Goose sneakers, or safe money with a sparkly pair of Converse x Chiara Ferragni One Star Ox Sneakers. Why not splurge on those Saint Laurent Star-Embossed Sunglasses? When it comes to fun starts and stripes accessories like these, just be sure it is the only patriotic motif item you wear, to avoid being flagged.

Wear your stripes down the side of a pair of jeans, sweats or trousers for summer. I love these Veronica Beard Carolyn Jeans with a red tux stripe. My advice about red stripes down the side of jeans? Ignore the red color. Go ahead and wear them with orange, yellow, prints or any other top or jacket you like.

Have fun wearing stars and stripes. You will see them turning up in all sorts of clever places. For example, check out these Gucci pumps. Here are more stars and stripes fashion I found just for you.
