Last spring it was about the clear Lucite heel, but this season, if you want to embrace the transparency shoe trend, it’s clear…you need to go with see-through details. Don’t get me wrong, there are still plenty of transparent heels and wedges to go around, but the look is totally fresh when there are just strips of clear mixed with leather, suede and/or crystal embellishments. It also doesn’t look as cheap, which is a risk you run when going a little too see-through. I must confess, because I thought it looked a little low rent, I did not get on board with this trend.
