Sheila helping a customer decide on a new handbag (it's harder than one would think!)
It was seriously "Handbag Heaven" at Neiman Marcus on Friday, October 15. The creative designers from several well-known handbag collections showed up to meet and greet shoppers, while introducing their line's 2010 Holiday collection and giving a few helpful hints on how to style them in the upcoming season.
Sheila Nazarian, one half of the creative force behind celebrity favorite Treesje, was on hand to greet SCS and show off the new line. Treesje has been a smash hit with all walks of fashionistas since the first collection arrived in January of 2005.

Get ready to see a lot of hardware this Christmas. The look this year is sophisticated with a young, edgy appeal. "Chains are laced through the fabric," Nazarian showed me while talking about one of this season's new clutches. "It keeps it fresh without being too flashy."
"I like the leather manipulation [of the bags]," explained Nazarian. "The subdued shine also helps gives it that sheen and keeps it interesting." Though you can expect the colors to start mellowing out for the Spring, these "rock-and-roll" purses with high shine and long chain straps will look nice against Chicago's snowy winter white wonderland.
Many know the name Treesje from the celebrities that wear the handbags on numerous occasions, red carpets and daily paparazzi shots. Between Blake Lively, Ashley Greene and Leighton Meester, the line is very popular amongst young Hollywood. Treesje has also been seen in the pages of InStyle, People's Style Watch, The Daily, and Lucky magazine, just to name a few.
Quick close up of the new clutches
The price point is ranges from $195 to $500, not much considering the quality and envious stares from friends you will be receiving. Stop by Neiman Marcus to check out these beauties firsthand!
