Project Runway, Season 12 Episode 13: Finale, Part 1. Memorable Quotes From Last Night’s Episode

The Project Runway designers are going to create a 10-look spring collection to show at New York Fashion Week! Dom and Bradon are showing at Fashion Week for sure, while Helen, Justin and Alexandria are fighting for a spot. They have six weeks to create their looks and one look must be created using unconventional materials. Fast forward and Tim Gunn is in Philadelphia checking in on Dom. He meets her family and gives her advice on her collection. The next stop is visiting Bradon in Los Angeles. He meets his fiancé and they all hang out at the beach. A visit to Alexandria’s home in California is the next stop and her collection is focused around being edgy, strong and modern. She has thirty pieces finished already! Tim visits Camp Couture, where Alexandria teaches children how to sew. The kids have made ugly dolls of the Project Runway cast and Tim finds them hilarious! Next, he flies to New Jersey to visit Helen. She has created some classic pieces and has made some chic capes. Raleigh, North Carolina is the final stop to visit Justin. His collection is based on sound waves and he is creating some unique 3-D pieces. A week later, the designers are back in New York. Even though the pressure is starting to set in, everyone is staying positive. Everyone, including Tim, is a little emotional. The brand manager for Tide, Raquel Rozas, stops by the workroom to announce a collaboration between Tide and the CFDA. The designers now have a challenge of creating one new look that can be washed in a washing machine. On a side note, poor Tim fell down subway stairs, went to the emergency room, and got four stitches!

The following day, Alexandria, Helen and Justin present the judges with three looks to determine who will show at Fashion Week. Justin’s collection got high praise, Helen’s was disliked, and Alexandria had mixed reviews on her looks. Drumroll please… Justin is showing at Fashion Week! Alexandria is in as well, however Helen is going home. Tune in next week to see who will win this season… will it be Dom, Bradon, Justin or Alexandria?
