I have a couple dressier events to attend this summer and even a “beach formal” wedding, so when I saw this gorgeous Cynthia Rowley Talia Printed Tie Sleeve Dress I had a feeling it would be the perfect gown for all of them. I have been a huge fan of Cynthia Rowley for years. In fact, Carol and I used to peruse her beautiful boutique in Chicago together and Carol is always happy to show off her vintage items from the brand. Now Cynthia Rowley is a global lifestyle brand also sold in her own stand alone boutiques, department, specialty and online stores worldwide.
The Cynthia Rowley brand currently includes the collection, gorgeous surf and swimwear, beauty, jewelry, fragrance, shoes, office supplies, tech accessories and even Rowley Eyewear featuring collections for both men and women. But wait, there’s more! The brand even has handbags, home furnishings, and ROWLEY, a recently launched fitness collection including apparel, bags and fitness accessories. It’s truly now a lifestyle brand.
I was a little nervous about the neckline of this dress because as a large busted woman I tend to seek out v-necks which makes my chest appear smaller, but I was drawn to the mini ruffle at the neck of this Cynthia Rowley dress anyway. I love the abstract jungle sunset print on this 100% silk maxi dress. It not only has beautiful flutter sleeves but ties that wrap around the upper arm for a little extra unique detail. There is an open slit down the back from the neck to the waist which gives the gown a little covert sexiness. After all, less is more. I wasn’t sure I could pull off yellow very well, but I have to admit, as soon as I put this gown on I knew it was the one. Do you agree?
