Last summer I tested over 15 B.B. Creams in the name of research (and a few more since). One of my favorites was and still is boscia’s. It is one of only 3 with a permanent spot on my makeup table. Quite an honor indeed. Well their next generation B.B. Cream or B.B. Cream 2.0 has been unveiled. boscia, the leader in preservative-free skincare, now introduces two variations of its break-through B.B. Cream SPF 27 PA++ formula: NEW boscia B.B. Cream Light Broad Spectrum SPF 27 PA++ and boscia B.B. Cream Bronze Broad Spectrum SPF 27 PA++. I only tried the bronze version so that is the one I will be addressing here. The light version is for lighter skin tones.

boscia’s NEW B.B. Cream Bronze Broad Spectrum SPF 27 PA++ utilizes the following powerful ingredients:
Abyssine: a naturally derived survival molecule, that uniquely protects itself in hostile environments, helps reinforce skin’s natural defenses or “reminds” skin how to defend itself against external aggressors and soothes skin.
Arbutin: a powerful antioxidant derived from bearberry, helps brighten hyperpigmentation and reduces fine lines and wrinkles
Beta-Glucan: a natural oat derivative, it supports skin’s natural defense mechanisms by providing a breathable barrier of moisture that protects against free radical damage while encouraging collagen synthesis and healthy skin.

Now be warned, if you are still deathly pale from a long winter like myself, you may find this formula a little dark! I gasped when I first saw my reflection! But luckily it blends down very well. I will continue to use my original boscia until I can realistically pull off a little more color, but then I imagine this formula will be my new BFF.
