The new Madewell store in Chicago at 932 N. Rush Street is now officially open! Tuesday night was the grand opening and Second City Style enjoyed cocktails and treats while gazing at all the new pieces the store had to offer.
From the soft knit sweaters and the cool chambray denim button-downs, there was something for everyone at the party! The “Bracelet Bar” had piles of arm candy you could stack on your wrist or maybe scarves are more of your thing. Not to worry, there was a wall full of different styles of scarves. Everything had a very casual and relaxed feel, so if you’re looking for your new Saturday and Sunday cool girl (and guy!) wardrobe, it’s here!
Between all the delicious bites and bubbly, we couldn’t help but have a good time. And another fun part of the party: you could even take Instagram pictures and print them out at the party! Social media at its finest! I was also digging the raised ceiling with vintage-inspired light fixtures, as well as the lacquered wood flower panel. Industrial yet chic…. I think that sums up Chicago in a nutshell!
