The jewels of the late Onassis heiress, Christina Onassis, will go up for auction at Christie’s in London tomorrow. The collection of jewelry, which forms part of the auction house’s summer jewelry sale, is expected to fetch $5.8 million. Highlights in the collection include a 38-carat pear-shaped diamond pendant, valued at as much as $4.31 million, and a rare Fabergé Buddha ornament estimated to fetch as much as $686,000.
