Off-Topic. Reality Show 'True Beauty' is a 'True Bust.'

Abc-true-beauty-season-2

The summer mania of reality TV is amongst us, exploding with the kickoff of 'True Beauty' debuting in its second season on ABC. With disappointing ratings and a mind boggling plot, I'm not so sure this drama-filled plaque will make it to season three. Ten equally attractive men and women believe they are competing for $100,000 and the chance to become "The Face of Vegas," solely based on their outer appearance. What the contestants don't know, however, is that they are secretly being videotaped and evaluated on their character based on specific tests being administered by the judges, Carson Kressley from 'Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’ and Beth Ostrosky Stern, Howard Stern's wife, while host,Vanessa Minnillo, sits behind the scenes as an unconvincingly stern private detective. The first contestant to bite the dust was eliminated for stealing during a challenge. I'm not applauding this man’s behavior, but seriously, do we really expect the contestants to learn their lessons after they’ve been ousted? My vote is probably not! I don't even think the star power executive producers; Ashton Kutcher or Tyra Banks could save this show. I'm just waiting for Kutcher to yell out that we’ve all been punk’d – audience included.

'True Beauty' airs Monday nights on ABC7 after the 'Bachelorette.' We'd love to hear your feedback!

YES! I LOOK FORWARD TO #GROWINGYOUNGER
