Nicole Richie has just signed a worldwide fragrance license with TPR Holdings LLC. Brian Robinson, president of TPR, which also owns the Reem Acra fragrance license, said Richie presents an opportunity unlike many of the other celebrities he is constantly pitched to work with.
Though not much is known about the upcoming fragrance, there were a few subtle details that will be noted in the scent. The scent and packaging will play off of Richie’s “very distinct image” and Robinson notes that the effect will be “cool, classy and edgy.” The scent and packaging will play off of Richie’s “very distinct image”, so that means we can probably expect a vintage, art-deco feel. Maybe a look from her House of Harlow collection?
“She has a wide breadth of creative talents being an author, a jewelry designer, a fashion designer and an aspirational figure,” he said. “[Her Twitter followers] look favorably on her. She’s done a great job with her image.”
This will only help her popularity when her new judging stint on NBC’s The Fashion Show appears next year.
