Attention all football fans! On June 14, the NFL issued a statement that will go into effect for the 2013 preseason, limiting the size and type of bag brought into stadiums. The NFL hopes the restrictions will enhance game day safety and accelerate fan entry into stadiums. They’re allowing clear bags – made out of plastic, vinyl or PVC – that do not exceed 12” X 6” X 12,” as well as one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags, such as a Ziploc bag. The exception to the rule is for people who need to bring medically necessary items to the game. Small clutches are also permitted for those of us who live a little more stylishly. The clutch must be 4.5” X 6.5” or smaller, which isn’t the easiest bag to find. Fortunately, I’ve found some cute styles to make your search simple.
