New York Events. Dove April Truth Day Event with Samantha Bee!

Last week on April 2nd — one day AFTER April Fool’s Day — we joined Dove and Samantha Bee of “The Daily Show” to celebrate April Truth Day as part of the Dove Truth Files Campaign.  The event was a celebration for media and consumers who learned the truth about what their bar or body wash is doing to their skin. And in celebration of the Dove-dedicated April Truth Day, us lucky guests were able to see the “proof” of Dove’s superior care through science demonstrations and engaging truth-revealing activities such as sharing our personal truths in the “Truth Photo Booth” and receiving valuable clues to our future from the “Truth Tellers.”

One of the best parts of the event were the carefully curated cocktails, boasting such Dove-friendly names as “Truth Serum” and “Care-Tini”. After taking a pic on the “Truth Photo Booth” and checking out the impressive Dove logo ice sculpture (with actual product inside!) we plopped down into The Truth Files lounge to listening to “The Daily Show” correspondent and comedienne Samantha Bee’s exclusive “Truth-telling performance”, which had us all rolling in the aisles.
