When Chicagoans think fashion, we think Neiman Marcus, and what better way to bring in the fall season than a fashion show by Lafayette 148 New York at our favorite fashion hotspot? Lafayette 148 New York Creative Director Edward Wilkerson was in town to present the Fall 2015 Collection along with Corrie McFadden, founder of eDrop-Off. In addition to an intimate preview of the brand’s top fall fashions, Neiman’s gave us more than a show, but an experience serving drinks and bags including Bobby Brown products and other goodies. Below are a few photos of the beautiful garments and “Neiman Marcus exclusives” the brand highlighted as their top trending looks for the season. From layered turtle necks to color blocked coats and printed knee length skirts, Lafayette 148 does fall fashion right. It was hard to refrain from reaching out and feeling the fabrics used in their designs. It was clearly visible how soft the feel of the fabric was and what beats appeal and function when it comes to a garment? My opinion? Nothing!
