New York Fashion Week Day 4: Sunday, February 9, 2014
Madelyn saw colorful and wearable pieces at the Diego Binetti Fall 2014 Collection at Studio 450.
Carol went to Lincoln Center for the Lela Rose Fall 2014 Collection show which included everything from waved hems to embroidered grids and cashmere knit with crystals to silk layered with feathers. Lovely!
Then it was on to DKNY at her usual lofty location at Cedar Lake for a lively show.
Victoria Justice and other starlets showed up (she was clad in DKNY) but the show was about “Real People, Real Style.”
Donna Karan with Rita Ora and models celebrating DKNY “25 Years Strong” Anniversary.
There was some amazing street style photo opportunities on models and others after the DKNY show.
Lauren went backstage at Vivienne Tam where makeup artist Maude Lacappe for MAC Cosmetics put together this clean look.
We found sophisticated street style in Chelsea near other NYFW show venues. People don’t usually dress like this on a Sunday afternoon, do they?
Carol went on to The Standard at The Highline for backstage beauty. Sassoon Creative Director Michael Forrey designed this look for the Eckhaus Latta AW14 Show.
The Sassoon hairstyle for Eckhaus Latta was modern, clean … and a little bit punk.
