There's nothing better than telling friends about a good find. Now imagine that one good find, was multiplied by 1,000. That would be the equivalent of Modern Vintage Chicago.
The popular bi-annual shopping event held at the Randolph Street Market returned for its third season as part of Fashion Focus Chicago. With bargains galore, many gathered to see what vintage steals they could find. And with decadent jewelry and mink stoles galore, it was not hard.

April Francis of TheHauteCloset.com was on hand to give a few styling and vintage finding tips. "The easiest [vintage] to look for is jewelry… And when it comes to vintage, look for a piece that speaks to you," explained April. "But it's all about things that you like… Or will speak to you."

Nena Ivon, Fashion Director of Modern Vintage Chicgo and Randolph Street Market was also on hand to give out a few styling tips. "[Never] do vintage head to toe, you look costume-y if you do."

Stylist Law Roach, owner of Deliciously Vintage, knows the importance of knowing what's current and staying atop of the trends. "I only like to show what's current," Law said. "The store is filled with the things designers are showing for the season."
