One of my favorite fashion trends for Fall 2025 is the midi skirt suit. These suits are perfect for women over 50 who want to look polished and chic. Nothing looks more refined and pulled together than a tailored skirt suit. The midi-length skirt is not only comfortable but also universally flattering, and you can choose a jacket style that works for your body type—whether that’s fitted, structured or slightly boxy. The overall look has a retro ladylike vibe that feels both timeless and modern.
These suits are true classics. If you invest in one, you’ll wear it for years to come. They also make great travel companions since you can mix and match the pieces. Pair the jacket with jeans, trousers, a printed skirt or even leather pants, and style the skirt with a cozy sweater, denim jacket or faux fur for entirely different looks.

2. The Fendi Leopard & Leather Midi Skirt Suit
The original Fendi version is an incredible leopard-print-and-leather combo. While it’s tough to find a similar one, you can capture the same look by pairing a leopard-print jacket with a sleek leather pencil skirt. Style tip: when wearing monochrome leather, mix up textures—pair smooth leather with suede, embossed, or textured pieces.
