Makeup Tips For Creating The Perfect Red Lip When You’re Over 35

If you are over 35 you might think the red hot lip trend for fall ’15 eludes you because you have fine lines around your lips and red lipstick tends to bleed, but I have great news for you. You can wear red! Recently my friend and celebrity makeup artist Dara Klein (@daramascara) taught me some tricks of the trade which I have been using and mastering the past few weeks and am going to share them with you.

What you’ll need:

  • Powder
  • Your favorite red lipstick
  • Matching lip liner
  • Lipstick brush (this is essential)
  • Tissue (in case you mess up)
  • Mirror (duh)
