Madonna is really playing up this old-school Italian housewife bit. For the newest Fall/Winter 2010 Dolce and Gabbana print campaign, Madonna once again dons the ideal life of an ordinary Italian woman. The campaign is said to take place in an unnamed Italian city and "describe the beauty and simple family life of an ordinary woman with her different roles as mother, daughter, granddaughter, cousin, and sister." What holding chickens has to with luxury fashion, I'll never know but apparently, old Italian housewives do???
