NYC Events. Launch Party for StyleWhipped

This past Monday night I attended the official launch party for the new blog StyleWhipped.com. Co-founder Alison Stewart covered several fashion shows for Second City Style during the most recent shows in NYC (check out Second City Style’s Spring ’09 Fashion Coverage here.). Alison’s partner Cindy Wood was a doll and we wish them much success. While I didn’t partake in the sweets I sure enjoyed the bubbly and meeting new people!

To my pleasant surprise there were a few reality television favorites in attendance like: Project Runway’s Suede (whom I had to tell was robbed by Kenley) and Stella (who really looks amazing in her leather designs) and Serge Van Lian from Top Design. Not to mention our own ‘Male Box‘ writer, Joseph Ungoco and our fierce fashion stylist friend Flavio Gomes (and my Fashion Week partner in crime who has better jewelry than I do!), David Robbins from Genre Magazine and Casey Gillespie from Zinc Magazine.
