The Duchess of Cambridge set foot on American ground on Friday in a charming blue-grey dress by Roksanda Ilincic. Many American stars such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Michelle Obama have been seen wearing the London based designer. Ilincic is famous for her draped designs and elegant details. Kate wore the dress to a Beverly Hills conference on venture capital and new media put on by Variety magazine.
Later in the afternoon, the couple attended a private reception at the British Consul-General’s residence where Catherine sported a beautiful green Diane Von Furstenberg dress and Leopard-Print Snakeskin Clutch.
For the much anticipated polo match in Santa Barbara, Kate dazzled fans in a floral Jenny Packham number and LK Bennett sandals.
The Duchess wowed Hollywood at the BAFTA celebration in a stunning pastel Alexander McQueen gown and matching Jimmy Choo heels and bag. The look was perfectly chic, elegant, and timeless.
For her last outfit in L.A., Kate wore a navy and white crocheted top paired with a cream pleated skirt from U.K. retailer, Whistles.
The royal tour might be over, but Kate Middleton left her fashion mark on North America. She is always dressed tastefully and appropriately for the event she is attending, as we saw over the past eleven days. She is a true example of someone who exudes beauty from the inside out and does not let her clothing “wear” her. The pieces she chooses are timeless and reflect her charming demeanor.
