What a surprise.
Juicy Couture's founders, Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor, have absolutely nothing to do with Juicy Couture anymore. It was pretty much writing on the wall when department stores were threatening to drop Juicy and Erin Fetherston was slated to take over.
But rumor has it that the girls will be taking on a new fashion adventure as soon as their non-compete with Liz Claiborne Inc. expires in a few months. Claiborne currently owns Juicy.
“It will reflect the way we dress now,” said Skaist-Levy told WWD. “We have outgrown our track suits and grown up.” These girls want to launch another fashion line?! They couldn't even keep the popular and successful one they had before!

It happens, people grow and change. In the 8th grade I wore pink and polos and wanted to be a cheerleader, 10th grade was all about red, black, studs, chains, there was a hippie phase somewhere and on and on and on.
They’ve grown out of the juicy “demographic” and need to find something new. I hate velour tracksuits, anything with obnoxious logos, and unnecessary amounts of glitter – but I own a LOT of Juicy Couture. I am a little excited about what these ladies come up with next and despise the overuse of velour in all the new Erin Fetherson designed Juicy.
