Jenny Packham does it again! One of the UK’s most successful brands showcased her latest 2015 resort collection and let’s just say it is simply stunning.
Creating a fusion of 1940s traditional Far Eastern style with Western fashions, Packham really outdid herself with this collection. Slight kimono sleeves appeared on a few dresses, along with the elaborate bead-work on some of the chiffon gowns. Packham also put a huge emphasis on sex appeal with the deep, plunging necklines, using jewel-studded illusion tulles. The color palette changed a lot throughout (chartreuse, white, seafoam green, black, winter white, hot pink, blush, plum, blue), but I think it works. Overall, I think the collection was very sensual and sophisticated. Packham’s contemporary touch is like no other. I have to get my hands on one of these dresses!
