shopping season officially kicks off, here is what the Census Bureau
of the US Department of Commerce says about what has happened leading
up to now. On a non-adjusted basis, the estimate of US retail e-commerce
sales for the third quarter of 2006 totaled $25.6 billion, an increase
of 3.4% from the second quarter of 2006. In addition, the Census Bureau published these numbers about the previous holiday season(s):
