Now that I have finally been able to ditch the ‘baby bag’ I find myself hoarding totes. After all, I still have to lug around a lot of kid’s ‘”stuff” (I swear I may never give up baby wipes), but since I don’t have to carry bottles any longer, I now have to opportunity to take it up a notch. One of my prerequisites for a tote is that it is light. By that I mean, light when empty. Lord knows when I pack it with everything I need it won’t be. So a bag that weighs 5 lbs empty is of no interest to me. I got rid of those long ago. We go way back with Hayden-Harnett. In fact, they were at our first event ‘Seventh in Chicago’ event back in 2006 when I still lived in Chicago! Since then I think I have accumulated about 8 HH bags. However, one I have wanted since well, forever is the Ibiza Flight Tote. So right before my vacation to the beach earlier this month I finally got one. I used it as a tote, a purse, a laptop case and a beach bag. The nylon with leather trimming and handles make this bag light as air and with pockets virtually everywhere…I never ran out of room. No wonder this is one of Hayden-Harnett’s best selling bags! Better yet, the Ibiza Tote can be worn up to six different ways with the unique strap/handle (cross body strap included) and snap system. There is also a padded internal compartment specifically for laptops and/or iPads. Available in 4 colors (black, olive, red and royal blue), this bag is practically a steal at $198!
