Holiday Shopping. Are You a Naughty (Rude) or Nice Shopper?

The weather outside is frightful and so is some of our behavior this holiday shopping season. According to an article in STORES Magazine by editor Susan Reda , sales people are not always the rude ones. They take their fair share of lumps for bad customer service, but Reda is willing to cut them some slack after what she witnessed this weekend. Rude, ill-mannered shoppers seemed to be out in full force, and she found myself rooting for the sales associates to fire back with a nasty comment (none did).

Yes, we all know the “customer is always right” credo. But that doesn’t give you a free pass to act like a jerk.

YES! I LOOK FORWARD TO #GROWINGYOUNGER

  1. I’d like to see fewer stores that follow the “customer is always right” and more than enforce “we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.” No one — or group — is always right!
