I put this look together because recently a friend asked me for advice on what to wear to a special awards event scheduled on one of the days of her upcoming business trip. She told me she already had a lot of cocktail dresses but they were too low cut or tight to wear in front of co-workers.

We both agreed this was the perfect opportunity to wear a jumpsuit! I found a long sleeve v-neck jumpsuit (not a plunging v), a small silver with gold hardware shoulder strap handbag, closed toe high heel suede mules, and shimmering rhinestone earrings, both high and low priced.
This jumpsuit could easily be dressed down with a chic leather jacket and flats or dressed up with crystal jewelry for a black tie event. It could even work as casual day wear with a denim jacket and sneakers. Jumpsuits keep you covered up in a chic way and are a perfect solution for women over 40 who don’t want to fuss with stockings and tricky undergarments.
