When it seems there’s never enough hours in a day, your everyday routine becomes daunting. The time it takes to get dressed in the morning and get your hair together, sometimes one can only hope to at least throw on some mascara. For some daily shampooing has become the thing of the past. Thanks to the hair gods, we now have a great selection of dry hair shampoos to chose from. Most are way more affordable than they use to be, and will make the days in between hair washes a breeze. Now instead of hours, we only need minutes. Here are some favorite dry hair shampoos that you can use in between washes, or when you need to refresh your hair.

One of the best dry shampoos on the market is Oscar Blandi’s Pronto Dry Shampoo Spray. What’s so great about this dry shampoo is not only does it freshen between washings, but it gives your hair volume and removes the dirt build up at the root area in seconds. It has all natural ingredients like rice, oat and tapioca starches which easily absorbs oil. It’s also infused with tea tree oil and lemon verbena to help reduce dandruff and leaves your scalp feeling invigorated and hair smelling fresh.

If you want a gentle dry shampoo, Klorane’s Gentle Dry Shampoo with Oat Extract is wonderful. The oat extract works for those with oily hair as well as those who may have a dry scalp. If you brush this shampoo into the hair, it gives it a very light feel.

Even though this products is not labeled as a dry shampoo it works perfectly as one. There’s something about Lush’s Vanilla Puff Powder that makes me squeal with excitement. Is it the name or that it just smells heavenly and should be edible? This vanilla puff powder contains cornstarch, talc and gold sparkles to leave your hair looking amazing and smelling heavenly with sweet vanilla and sexy jasmine.

TRESemme FreshStart Dry Shampoo is a great drugstore find. Not only is it inexpensive at $5.49, but it really works. This shampoo is infused with mineral clay that soaks up the excess oil and impurities. The citrus extract neutralizes odors and gives you a clean feeling.

Last but not least Rene Furterer Naturia Dry Shampoo To Go is great for the gym, long flights or your office drawer. This too is a volume-enhancing dry shampoo that leaves your hair lightly scented while helping extend the life of your regular shampoos.
