I had heard about FACE atelier, but had never seen it in person. That was until I attended The Makeup Show in NYC last month. Once I saw the booth I bee-lined right for it. I had heard FACE atelier Ultra Foundation was amazing, but could it really make me replace my beloved Armani Luminous Silk Foundation? Others have tried and failed.
As it happened I unknowingly approached the owner/founder Debbie Bondar who knew by looking at me I was not only wearing Armani foundation, but she swore she could make me switch! Prove it! I love a challenge!
Bondar went on to show me that because Ultra Foundation is a silicone-based emulsion it is extra lightweight. Therefore, it floats on top of the skin because the silicone molecule is larger than the human pore. Not only is FACE atelier makeup artists new secret weapon, the micro-shifting products are also designed to ensure customizable shades. Add a drop of Zero Plus to go a shade darker, or a splash of Zero Minus to lighten. In addition, you can use Ultra Foundation to create a custom moisturizer, just add a few drops to your daily face moisturizer.
