The CAbi BeautiFall Career Event is this Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. CT. If you’re not familiar with CAbi, it stands for Carol Anderson by Invitation. Designer Carol Anderson was a successful brand at Nordstrom. Together with business friends Jan Janura and Kimberly Inskeep they came up with idea of testing the concept of sharing the clothes with women in a home surrounded by friends, rather than in a traditional retail environment. That’s how CAbi was born! CAbi is like a Tupperware party (I mean this in a good way) for fashion! Everyone likes trying on clothes with friends.

I am a fan of CAbi and now I found out I really love the jeans. I realize I wear jeans almost every day and CAbi Denim has a lot of extra stretch and they have the comfort of sweat pants! I like the fact that there are no apparent logos and the styles are trendy without being over-the-top! The washes are wisked in all the right places to flatter and the back pockets are well placed. Dress ’em up or down. CAn you tell I am excited about CAbi denim? Here I’m wearing CAbi Heritage Wash Skinny Jeans and the CAbi Jacquard Jacket. The jacket is really soft and plush. With a belt, clutch and pumps I can go from day to evening. I know I will wear this jacket bright colors, too like red or yellow.
This CAbi Border Wrap is a fun top in a snake print with an olive band at the waist that can be dressed up or down, too. Here I’m dressing it down with CAbi Comet Wash Tapered Boyfriend Jeans (rolled up), suede casual oxfords, a suede studded handbag and an oversized black moto jacket. I can run around and feel comfortable in this outfit all day. The top like so many of their pieces is machine wash, too!
