The Donna Karan Spring 2011 ad campaign is out—and already we're smitten. The moodily lit, almost sepia-toned images were shot by Patrick Demarchelier in the Meatpacking District in New York City. Yet despite the rough and modern setting, the images in the campaign evoke a sort of classical romanticism, as manifested by models Karlie Kloss and Abbey Lee Kershaw.

A statement released by Donna Karan reps. noted the inspiration for the campaign as " The femininity & sensuality of a woman in her boudoir, embracing elements of nature as she expresses herself, long, lean and languid." True to their words, the garments in the collection cascade in soft folds down the models' bodies, the fabric like liquid or even soft creases of antique paper. Keep an eye out for these and the other beautiful images in the Donna Karan New York Spring 2011 ad campaign and start getting ready for all the lightweight confections of spring!
