Celine may be close to announcing a new U.S. president, but its
communications team isn’t sticking around to spread the word. The
French fashion house, a division of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton,
has closed its New York public relations office effective immediately.
Headquartered at the LVMH Tower on East 57th Street, the Celine press
office had been run by PR director Victoria Ashley and coordinator Anya
Assante.
Going forward, all communications for Celine will be
handled directly by the Paris office. The team consists of Joséphine
Verine, worldwide image and communications director; Valérie
Leberichel, press and advertising manager, and Gwenaelle Guy, who will
handle all U.S. sample requests as international press coordinator.
