Did you ever find the perfect leather handbag but it was not in the perfect color? Did you ever wish you could design your own handbag? Visit Laudi Vidni handbags and you can customize the perfect bag, just for you!
Laudi Vidni popped up earlier this month with a pop up design studio at 520 North Michigan Avenue on level 1. It’s the perfect place for out of town visitors to design a one-of-kind designer quality handbag exactly to their liking. How’s that for a stylish souvenir? And if you live in Chicago you can stop in and pick out your own bag (or two or three). When you see all the handbag styles and color options, it’s easy to get addicted!
I met Laura Kofoid, CEO of Laudi Vidni on opening day. She said she and her business partner, Grace Tsao-Wu, started Laudi Vidni because they loved handbags, did not necessarily like logo bags but still wanted the right bag for every occasion (from a Cub game to a wedding to cocktails or commuting). They knew so many women who would say “I love this handbag, but…” so they came up with a business plan. Laudi Vidni is INDIVIDUAL spelled backwards, and I think it sounds like an expensive Italian brand, too!
Even if you do like designer bags, there is plenty of room in your closet for your own custom bag, right? You can order one online but the beauty of the pop up boutique is you can touch and feel the leathers and try on the bags as well as receive phenomenal help from the design experts at the store. I think of myself as a stylist and have even designed my own clothing, but I still welcomed the help of the Laudi Vidni design experts. As Laura put it they “won’t let you walk out with an ugly bag!” That’s their motto. Don’t worry, if you shop online you can get plenty of assistance, too!
Laudi Vidni offers 26 styles, sumptuous leathers, hand-brushed hardware and beautiful linings. The bags are made with care in the USA and delivered to your door in 3—5 weeks.
Visit Laudi Vidni online or at the Laudi Vidni Pop Up Studio is located at 520 North Michigan Avenue right on level 1.
