Another accessories collaboration is in the works – Coach has tapped Billy Reid to create a collection that will launch in stores and online in September. Following in the footsteps of past Coach collaborations with Saint James, Krink, Pierre Le-Tan, and more, Reid is creating a line of men’s and women’s bags and accessories. The designs of the bags are inspired by vintage Coach designs, mixing Reid’s contemporary Southern style with classic, archival Coach elements.
The bags in the Coach + Billy Reid collection are made from materials from and inspired by fabrics and brass hardware in the Coach archives, as well as fabrics from Reid’s own collection. The bags and accessories will retail from $250 for the leather wallet up to $20,000 for a crocodile tote. They’ll appear in nine North American Coach flagships, as well as eight stores in Asian markets and on coach.com. The collection will also be carried exclusively at Billy Reid stores.
