Fresh on the heels of Chloe Sevigny's unisex streetwear line that she designed for Fall 09 with Opening Ceremony, the actress/style maven is announcing she wants more. Recently named 'Woman of Fashion' on Style.com's brother site, Men.Style.Com, Sevigny has always stood out for her edgy and eclectic taste-for better or for worse. But whether the public loves her taste or despises it, Sevigny herself seemed to enjoy playing designer. The actress was so enthused about her ongoing projects with Opening Ceremony, she is reportedly looking to upgrade to working with more luxe labels. In a recent interview Sevigny said, “I’d like to do something with a high-end company. You know, the way that Sofia Coppola did with Louis Vuitton. I thought it was very cool. There were no labels on anything. I like that. I prefer it.”
Sevigny says her dream company to collaberate with would be Hermes and hopes that her public discussion on the topic may lead to an invitation, as it did with Opening Ceremony. Yet we're not so sure Hermes is quite ready to rock out
Chloe-style.
