Chicago Events. Fix Boutique Grand Opening Catered to Everyone’s Fashion Fix.

A new face has tucked itself between the warehouses and factories in Chicago’s trendy West Loop neighborhood. Fix Boutique opened its glass doors to the windy city socialites last Thursday to peruse its two floors of men’s and women’s clothing. All while sipping complimentary Grey Goose drinks, swaying to live music, and savoring marshmallows enhanced by a streaming chocolate fountain.

The clothing was exciting and refreshing, with designers such as Black Halo, Rich & Skinny and Rozae Nichols. What I was taken aback by the most was how perfectly Fix catered to the wardrobe of Chicago! The clothing was all simple, soft, wonderfully constructed and had just enough edge to be closet standards. The fall/winter designs, for instance, would work perfectly battling the elements atop the El platform or making a statement during a night out in the frigid Chicago winter.

Owners Maggie and Jennifer Gelber came up with the concept of Fix by mixing Chicago fashion with New York street style. What they also brought from the East was the originality of not just its clothing, but also its space.

The lower level of Fix boasts its very own VIP section. Complete with lounge chairs, bar, and very comfortable changing rooms, Fix takes the act of shopping from “task” to “event”.  In order to gain access to this space, you have to prove yourself by becoming a loyal customer. But don’t worry, “loyal” doesn’t relate to how much money you spend at the boutique. But it definitely takes customer service to a whole new level.
